Members are our war horses in our fight to preserve the Shenandoah Valley’s Civil War battlefields. Because of our Members, we’ve been able to preserve over 7,000 acres of Civil War battlefield in over 70 land deals, install trails and interpretation for visitation, build new museums and open visitor centers, develop a Research Library and Archives, award scholarships to students studying history, protect more than 30 miles of stream bank as well as other conservation projects, conduct archeology, offer kids camps and field trips, and welcome hundreds of participants to conferences and bus tours.
We consider each membership an honor within our family of donors, and only wish we could do more to express our gratitude. For benefits, please see below. Each level receives added benefits, while also enjoying the benefits of the levels above. Membership in the Shenandoah Guard can also be paid monthly starting at $84 a month using the Monthly Membership button above.
