The Miller-Kite House Museum
Elkton, Virginia
The Miller-Kite House Museum is located in a house that served as the headquarters of General Stonewall Jackson during the beginning of the Shenandoah Valley Campaign. It was built in 1827, and is a two-story, five bay, "L"-shaped brick dwelling. It has a cross-gable roof with eaves decorated with sawnwork filigree. The exhibit features many items from the Civil War era and some articles belonging to Jackson.
